Bonds are formed from similar origins, so all it takes to build is the decision to be open, an invitation, and a little time to uncover what makes us alike. We just have to remember that kinship requires vulnerability, and sometimes chance.

After a week together, our new friend’s departure was bittersweet. We learned a lot from one another, but most important, each of us is grateful we got on the paths that crossed. Farewell until next time.
