Although we can’t stop aging, we can go through long periods of life without understanding ourselves, and we never stop learning. Yet it took 30+ years for us each to follow our own story, knowing it would lead us away from others. And now we wonder what our teaching will do to his future since he will be ahead of our development. Awareness, like biology, is a one-way street.

Despite the world’s constant confusion, he now has more tools than we had then, so we don’t fear for him. He’ll live the life he wants.
