The next new thing is always a social experiment in progress

Perspective — like life — is a paradox,
an unquenchable question disinterested with reality.
It drives us to both reflect and falsely resolve,
through valuation,
at best with purpose; at worse without reason.

With growth and suffering
we can better understand, but
who among us will withstand the pain of inquiry?
So we mostly fail,
and believe in its circular reference.

Our perception is imagined;
Yet, what is life but survival?
Everything but nourishment and propagation
is meaningless entertainment
for our over-active brains.

Only concentration delivers us:
detachment is the solution.
But at what cost.
And,
from what do we detach?
