Are you oblivious to the sufferings of birth, old age, sickness and death? There is no guarantee that you will survive, even past this very day! The time has come to develop perseverance in practice. For, at this singular opportunity, you could attain the everlasting bliss [of nirvāṇa]. So now is not the time to sit idly, But, starting with death, you should bring your practice to completion! The moments of our life are not expendable, And the circumstances of death are beyond imagination. If you do not achieve an undaunted confident security now, what point is there in your being alive, O living creature?

It took me a while to realize that we are all the same, but I appreciate the process of arriving at the awareness. Its slow pace helped me understand how I chose to render wrong meanings. And that was the real education.

To live in society is to be absorbed by it; those who take part have their reasons, but if you are aware enough to detach, the growing isolation reinforces itself and soon society forgets and then shuns you.

But in reality, society never cared.
The relationship is at most a mirage.

What occurs in the process of this change
is the recognition that we misidentified
the importance of the outside world and,
to the detriment of our time on earth,
inflated its value above zero.

Admitting your mistake is the meaning of life.
