As much as I try to stay in the present, it isn’t always possible. I’m imperfect, so I often wish for different circumstances. Winter is one of them.

My memories as a kid are entangled with the sensation of heat and moisture. Maybe that's why growing up in the South made me think of the cold and wish for something different?
Every year around this time, I tend to hope for the onset of winter. I miss snow and skiing.
Some people during cold times wish they were some place warm; for me the ice can’t come soon enough.
