Self-honesty is a skill that I only in the last 10-15 years have had the discipline to enforce. When I remember my lifetime and all the years before then, that observation seems crazy. But, maybe that’s how we all learn.
In comparison to who I remember myself to be, it makes me more open about my flaws. These entries document that pathway.

Like the rest of life, despite being here so long there are a million places we have not explored. Hopefully we are around long enough to make the best of it.
This one, though, is a new beginning. Owning up to my persistent lack of thoughtfulness in this project manifests in a flurry of back-dated entries documenting as much of the thought process I can remember. I assume the new year will carry a greater focus with it, especially if that’s how I approach it.
