Three and a half years in Alaska and we did not visit Seward until now. Maybe twenty times on the trek to and from Homer we’ve past the road to get there. Tern lake, nearly 40 miles away, is until this week as close as we ever came. At least our time there was inspirational enough to provoke many of the coming entries, so the experience wasn’t without substantial value.
