We’ve probably seen more of Alaska so far this year than the entire almost four years we have lived here. Most of that travel was in association with her artistic work, so I appreciate those endeavors even more.

I think that is why creative work in general is so appealing to me. Nowadays my day job, as I often refer to it, is in a relatively small box. Daily tasks are predictable and there isn’t much movement involved. Stability has its value, but it is really only economic.
